How it Helps
I am obsessed with Dropps. Like most of the products I try, Facebook recommended it to me. I guess their market algarithyms have discovered that I love the earth friendly products. What first drew me in was that the pods come in a box, not a plastic bag or box, cutting down on plastic waste. Then, as I looked into their products, I saw that they made all of their cleaning pods with environmentally friendly products. There are no dyes and the septs are natural as well.
What I Think
I started with the dishwasher pods. I’ve had issues before with the pods I get from the store not dissolving from time-to-time. I chose the lemon scent, just because I love the fresh and clean scent of lemon.
I am happy to say that I have yet to have any of them not dissolve. I’ve been using them 2 months now. Then make my dishes look great, don’t leave any water spots on my cups, and don’t stick together under the sink either.
I had a plastic tub that my old dish-pods had been in, so I just re-used that tub to put my new ones in. It’s perfect to be sure they are dry and I can just keep reloading it as I need to.
I usually rinse my dishes before I go in, so they don’t have stuck on food, but if I am about to wash something, I don’t rinse it as much.
The next set of pods I ordered, a few weeks after the dishwasher pods, were laundry pods. I ordered the Stain & Order Clean Scent Pods and the Oxi Booster Pods. I use the oxi pods usually when I am washing Abigail’s clothes of AJ’s work clothes, because those tend to get extra dirty. Everything else I use the just the regular ones. I’ve been really happy with how clean things get. My daughter’s favorite lovie gets incredible clean in cold water with these pods, and it’s her dirtiest stuffed friend.
I usually wash things on cold, which is better for your clothes and saves energy. To be safe, I purchased the cold water wash bags. They are recommended to help ensure that the laundry pods don’t stick to your clothe sin an HE washer. I’ve had this happen in the past. I had actually stopped using pods because they were ruining my clothes sticking to them. I followed the instructions from Dropps, placed my pods in the bag, put the bag on the bottom of the washer, and have had no issues. Even in top cold water, I can put the pods directly in the bottom of my washer and have no issues.
You can order a sample pack to try these pods, a one time order, and a subscription and save 20%. I have mine on a 4-month renewal right now. I haven’t gotten to the end of my 4 months yet, so I’m not sure if I have timed things right, but you can always adjust if you need to.
Give it a Try
You don’t have to sacrifice your clean dishes and laundry to take care of the environment and your family.
